Muggle
En los libros de la serie Harry Potter de la escritora J.K. Rowling los muggle son aquellas personas que no tienen magia, es decir, simples mortales sin ninguna cualidad mística y mayormente la población muggle no se interesa ni sabe del Mundo Mágico. Dentro de esta ficción, es posible nacer mago siendo hijo de muggle. En esos casos se es un sangre sucia. Este termino lo usan magos que creen que que sólo los hijos de magos puros son dignos de aprender magia. Según otros, la enseñanza de la magia debe ser para aquel que presente las cualidades apropiadas. Tal es el caso de Hermione Granger, que es hija de padres muggles.
